Via jambase.com: Here’s a recap of Day 2 (7/4/15) in Chicago of the three Fare The Well gigs.

“It’s like a hippie Disneyland.” Thus was the sentiment in one tweet surrounding Friday’s (7/3/15) Grateful Dead concert at Soldier Field.

Of course, the Dead, one of rock’s most memorable and distinct bands, are calling it quits in this, their 50th year. They will put on shows again Saturday and Sunday as part of their Fare The Well tour, which also landed in Santa Clara, Calif., in June.

And there’s a flood of info online from the first show. Above is a good YouTube clip from a lucky fan that got up close.

The Chicago Tribune had photos from the gig: http://www.chicagotribune.com/entertainment/music/ct-grateful-dead-soldier-field-photos-20150703-photogallery.html

And a live music website had the set list, photos from the sound check, and plenty of tweets: http://livemusicblog.com/2015/07/03/fare-thee-well-grateful-dead-chicago-roundup/
