Lovers of flavored tobacco, and Georgia Gwinnett College (GGC)  students, please note: A unique establishment apparently has opened in the Suwanee Gateway area.

According to Facebook postings, the Anatolia Cafe & Hookah Lounge has opened on Lawrenceville-Suwanee Road, near I-85 in the same plaza as the Movie Tavern. The establishment got its alcoholic beverage license last fall. It apparently has obtained other necessary licenses, and even got a “100/A” score on a restaurant inspection.

In case you’re wondering, a hookah is a stemmed waterpipe that is used to smoke flavored tobacco, according to

Seems the Suwanee location was chosen for its proximity to GGC in Lawrenceville. The owners also have a location on Peachtree Street in Atlanta that is popular with Georgia State University students. The owners are natives of Turkey and live in the Lawrenceville area.

“Flavor of the week: Black Peach Mist! Get it while it lasts…” reads a Facebook posting about a particular type of tobacco.
