Gwinnett Chamber Continues Small Business Outreach

The Gwinnett Chamber of Commerce has many facets, and it will continue its small business development efforts this week.

An event called Small Business Essentials will be held in Snellville City Hall on Thursday, Feb. 20, beginning at 2:30 p.m., according to the chamber events calendar.

According to the event description, local experts will discuss free education and assistance resources that are available for starting or growing small businesses.

Among the items that will be discussed, according to the announcement:

  • business and marketing plans
  • doing business with the City of Snellville
  • educational workshops for small businesses
  • financial¬†& lending assistance

A similar event was held in Duluth in November, and others reportedly are planned for Norcross and Suwanee.

The chamber, which is located in Duluth, is holding the outreach events because 95 percent of its member businesses have 49 or fewer employees.
