The latest winter storm to hit Gwinnett County and metro Atlanta in 2014 is now in runoff mode.

But it was a doozie, dumping ice and snow on a wide area and closing schools and businesses for several days. There were few horror stories, as there were for the winter blitz that hit in late January 2014. But it still made for plenty of picturesque photos and colorful tales of disrupted life.

But how does the latest winter storm here compare to some others? There was the one in January 2011 that also closed scho0ls and shut in residents for several days.

And even in 2010, there was a significant snowfall, as evidenced by this photo:  Atlanta Winter Storm 2010 (Steve Burns photo)

So now that you are thawed out, sound off. Which was the worst winter storm in Atlanta in recent years? Leave your comments below.
